Kyrgyzstan plane crash kills dozens more similar news »
A Iran-bound Boeing 737 with 90 people on board crashed Sunday near the airport in Kyrgyzstan's capital, Bishkek, a government official said. The six crew members survived the crash, an official from Kyrgyzstan's Emergency Situations Ministry told CNN. He said roughly 60 passengers were killed and more than 20 were injured.

Name on terror watch list may end pilot's career more similar news »
Erich Scherfen served for 13 years in the U.S. military. After receiving an honorable discharge, he was hired as a pilot for a regional airline. In April, Scherfen learned that he was on a government terror watch list and would be suspended from his job. He was told he faced termination on September 1 unless he was able to clear his name.
