Unumb decided to do something about it, helping pass a law that forces companies in South Carolina to cover the disorder. But even with Ryan's Law passed, she says her fight isn't over yet.

A woman who says she had to forgo cancer treatment because of unsuccessful surgery by a California doctor says she was never told that he was being treated for alcoholism and had been convicted for DUI. A study suggests that about 8,000 physicians practicing in the U.S. are in confidential addiction treatment.
