Computers captured from a deceased rebel leader document "tremendously revealing" and "very grave" links between Ecuador and Colombian rebels, Colombia's director of national police said. His comments came after Ecuador and Venezuela rushed troops toward their borders with Colombia after that country's cross-border raid on FARC rebels.

Ecoterrorism eyed as luxury homes burn more similar news »
Five luxury homes burned today north of Seattle in what could be a case of ecoterrorism, officials said. A sign with the letters "ELF" was found in the "Street of Dreams" development. ELF may stand for Earth Liberation Front, which the FBI has called an ecoterrorist group. But firefighters didn't say if the sign is believed to be from the group.

Chavez sends troops to Colombia border more similar news »
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on Sunday ordered thousands of troops to the border with Colombia and ordered the closure of the Venezuelan Embassy in Bogota. The moves were in apparent reaction to a Colombian operation against rebels that Chavez said "violated the sovereignty of a neighbor country."
